Near Island

Yesterday we went walking on the south end of Near Island.


Looking across toward Kodiak Island just south of town.  You can see the wind turbines in the fog on Pillar Mt.

The weather changed to very overcast yesterday and today it poured down rain all day.  Tomorrow Kila, Deva, and Mark arrive.  I hope the weather changes back so they can see the magic of Kodiak.  I am so excited and can't wait for them to get here!!
